County Orientation Meeting Schedule

Below are the known ALJBS County Orientation Meetings scheduled to date. These meetings are for the benefit of delegates, alternates and parents. We ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes early to take care of signing in and so that the meeting can start on time. A typical meeting runs about an hour and a half. These usually take place in the months of May and June at a centrally-located legion post in the county. Check back here periodically to find your sponsoring county meeting date. If you know of a meeting date, please report it to the webmaster and it will be posted promptly for all delegates to see.

Important

Delegates are required to attend the meeting in the county of the sponsoring post. For example, if you attend school/live in Camden County and are being sponsored by an American Legion Post from Burlington County, you must attend the Burlington County meeting. In the event you have a conflict on the day of your county meeting, you can attend another county meeting but as a guest. DO NOT sign-in; rather inform that county chairman you are there to observe and also tell your sponsoring post chairman/county chairman you will be attending another county meeting. It is important that you attend an orientation to hear first-hand of what Boys State is all about, what you will need to bring and what is expected of you.

If you have any additional questions, you can contact the County Boys State Chairmen directly:
County Boys State Chairmen Contact List.

Our virtual orientation sessions are open to all sponsored and non-sponsored delegates (and their parents) whether or not they have already attended an in-person orientation. All non-sponsored delegates are expected to attend one virtual orientation prior to the session.

We're sorry, there are not any confirmed County Orientation Meetings yet, please check back soon.

We strongly encourage you to attend a County meeting in your area if you have missed your designated meeting. Be sure to inform that county chairman you are there to observe.
