On Friday, June 23, 2006, Rushabh Doshi (Randolph, Morris County) of Madison City #4 and Patrick Thompson (Hamilton, Mercer County) of Buchanan City #14 were elected to represent NJ at Boys Nation in Washington, D.C. That day was only the beginning of their journey. They were the only two of the 788 delegates who attended ALJBS to earn the honor from their colleagues. As Boys Nation senators they traveled to Washington D.C. July 21-28, 2006 and met the President of the United States, as well as visiting the Lincoln Memorial & Arlington National Cemetary to name a few.
