Past Post Commander Louis T. "Lou" Mastromonaco passed into Eternal Light on February 4, 2009. A very active member of the F.A. Mackenzie American Legion Post in Bayonne, NJ, Lou was very active as a member of the Boys State program from the 1970's through the 1990's, serving as Chairman of the Department of New Jersey Boys State program. The lifelong resident of Bayonne was instrumental for years in spreading Americanism through the Boys State program.
