Online Application now Available!

Go to apply.aljbs.org once ready to apply

For the first time in its illustrious history, the American Legion Jersey Boys State program is accepting ONLINE applications to attend our program as a participant. Delegates and Alternates will sign up for an account and fill out their pertinent demographic data, along with sponsorship information, then print their application to bring to their parents, high school and sponsoring American Legion post for validation.

The process remains the same for this process, however all applicants will be asked to create an account using their own email address to register. The Online Application System launched on Monday, February 3rd at 10am. The new process will allow for legible data on the printed form, and allow our Trenton Headquarters the ability to pull the data straight into the systems in our Trenton office to process applications more accurately. The Online Application has been a goal for a number of years, but could not have been possible without the hard work and dedication of the all-volunteer staff of the Boys State Technology Committee, and in conjunction with the Director of ALJBS, President of the ALJBS Board of Trustees and the Adjutant of the American Legion Department of New Jersey.

Applicants will be informed by the Boys State Chairmen statewide to complete and print their application using the online system before bringing to their parents for sign-off, their High School Principal for validation (as a High School Junior) and presented to their sponsoring American Legion Post's Boys State Chairman for ultimate submission to the Trenton Headquarters of the American Legion Department of New Jersey. Please note ONLY applications signed by and mailed by the Post Boys State Chairmen to our Trenton HQ will be accepted!

Thank you for your cooperation and we hope to see you at our 69th session, June 22-27, 2014 at Rider University.
