Carlos Polanco elected 71st Governor of ALJBS

John Woods named Lieutenant Governor

Carlos Polanco [Pierce City #13] of Clifton (Passaic County), Post #8 has won the 2016 ALJBS Governor election, the ALJBS Political Desk announced today.

Polanco, Lieutenant Governor John Woods [Taylor City #11] of Fair Haven (Monmouth County), Post #168, and State Party Chairman Thomas Griggs [Madison City #4] of Rutherford (Bergen County), Post #109 were mobbed by Polanco's native Pierce City after Director Bagatelle announced the results to the assembled delegation around 3:00 PM.

Polanco, the 71st ALJBS governor, and Woods posed for photos and shook the congratulatory hands of delegates before being escorted to their office in New Jersey State Police squad cars. Governor Polanco and his cabinet will announce their appointments later tonight.
