Mathias Cross [Taylor City #11] of Florence (Burlington County), Post #194 has won the 2016 ALJBS Governor election, the ALJBS Political Desk announced today.

Cross and Lieutenant Governor Samuel Cassidy [Monroe City #5] of Hillsdale (Bergen County), Post #162 posed for photos after former New Jersey Governor Christie Todd Whitman announced the results to the assembled delegation around 3:15 PM.

Cross, the 72nd ALJBS governor, and Cassidy posed for photos and shook the congratulatory hands of delegates before being escorted to their office in New Jersey State Police squad cars. The governor and his cabinet will announce their appointments later tonight.
