ALJBS Preparing For 2022 Session; Online Application Opens

Sponsored Delegates, Alternates can now apply online


American Legion Jersey Boys State will return in 2022 for its 76th session as New Jersey's preeminent youth leadership and civics program, where over 1,000 rising juniors will join the ranks of illustrious alumni that includes Governors, US Senators, US Supreme Court Justices, and numerous executives.

Date and Location

The program will be held from June 19-24, 2022, at Rider University in Lawrenceville.

COVID-19 Safety

We will be running our typical, high-level ALJBS program adhering to the health guidance in place at the time of the session in June. We expect to once again feature dozens of highly renowned speakers, career-focused seminars, and a learn-by-doing program that teaches citizenship.

College Credit

College credit will again be available to interested statesmen, which you can find out more about our website.

How to Apply

If you are a junior at a New Jersey high school interested in attending ALJBS 2022, you can apply to attend ALJBS in one of two ways:

1. If you are being sponsored by an American Legion post in New Jersey, you can apply now using the Online Application System at apply.aljbs.org.

2. If you're not sponsored by an American Legion post, you can apply to our Admissions portal at admissions.aljbs.org.
